CONNECT CREATE CULTIVATE: A NETWORKING EVENT
NOIR Professionals is hosting an event this November! On November 10th, join us at The Canadian Museum for Human Rights (85 Israel Asper Way) for Connect Create Cultivate.
This event will create an exciting space for Black professionals across many industries to come together, network, share experiences and even explore recruitment opportunities from various companies.
Hear from our inspiring panel of guests, discover new opportunities at the recruiter booths and mingle with emerging and established Black talent!
This three-hour event will feature a keynote address and two unique panel discussions covering topics from skill development to knowing your worth.

Meet our Speakers
Keynote
Michelle J. Jean-Paul (she/her/elle) is an educator, academic and community connector. Her scholarship, paired with a decade and a half of leadership experience as a public school administrator, is largely centered around developing collective capacity in the areas on Diversity, Equity and Inclusion.
A much sought out public speaker and workshop facilitator in both English and in French, Michelle has worked with organizations on a local and international level. Her work extends beyond educational institutions into corporate environments such as the Winnipeg Chamber of Commerce and RBC. She is also a published author, her most recent writing featured in the Palgrave Handbook of Educational Leadership and Management Discourse.
Michelle holds a Bachelor of Arts, Bachelor of Education, Master of Education, and is presently a PhD candidate at the University of Manitoba. She currently works as Divisional Principal of Diversity, Equity, Inclusion and Anti Racism Services for the Louis Riel School Division.
Michelle also works as a consultant, guiding institutions and businesses in the areas of anti-racism, DEI, leadership development, and conducting program reviews.

Natalie Bell is in the business of people.
As a senior People and Culture Consultant, Instructor, Facilitator, and Coach, Natalie is an energetic leader who prides herself in fostering meaningful relationships with organizations and individuals to help them achieve their best.
With over 20 years of progressive HR experience and an entrepreneurial passion, Natalie demonstrates confidence in identifying a variety of people-related situations and providing innovative solutions to the businesses and communities she supports.
Natalie focuses on holistic approaches, meeting people where they are, and creating spaces where people feel comfort in finding their voice to speak their truth. She is well known for challenging the status quo – and inspires her audience, both online and offline, to reach their full potential in clear, actionable ways.
Natalie remains active in the community and is currently serving as President-Elect for the Congress of Black Women of Manitoba, and as a Board Director for both the Winnipeg Chamber of Commerce and North Forge Technology. Natalie is a ‘love local’ enthusiast with engaging digital content, and an unapologetically “real talk” approach – these are among the many reasons she’s a sought-after moderator, panelist, and speaker.
Fisayo Fatoki is enthusiastic about solving customer problems, often using technology to enable businesses. He is a Principal Consultant at Online Business Systems. In addition, he is a Consultant to the Extended Education Department of the University of Manitoba (Business Analysis Program).
He has over 12 years of experience delivering projects and products for various organizations in various domains across multiple continents (Africa, Europe and North America). He is a career mentor, agile coach, and a firm believer in contributing to the development and progress of both professional and ethno-cultural communities.
His certifications include Certified Business Analysis Professional (CBAP), Certified Scrum Master (CSM), Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO), SAFE Agilist, ITIL and Prosci Change Management Professional.
